| Dr. PETER BASKERVILLE CCRI Co-Leader, West and North Chair, Modern Western Canadian History, Departments of History and Classics and Humanities Computing, University of Alberta One of Canada's leading business social scientists, Dr. Baskerville is co-author of the leading scholarly text book in the field, A Concise History of Canadian Business, Oxford University Press, 1994 (with Graham Taylor). For the last 20 years he has been working with routinely-generated quantitative sources and is co-founder of the Canadian Families Project. Along with Eric Sager, he published a special issue of Historical Methods, the leading North American journal concerned with methodological issues in quantitative history. Through the Public History Group, he is making manuscript census material available to the general public |
